Leadership and Advocacy Training Sanghar is empowering young girls to become strong advocates for education and community development.
20 girls from the “Champions for Change” network participated in a one-day training organized by Thar Education Alliance (TEA) in collaboration with the Malala Fund. The workshop focused on girls’ education and gender-responsive budgeting, equipping participants with the knowledge to understand public finance and advocate for better schools.
Led by development expert Kapil Dev, the session emphasized practical skills — how to ask the right questions, present issues effectively, and engage with stakeholders using evidence.
CEO Partab Shivani highlighted that these young advocates will play a key role in tracking the utilization of school-specific budgets and working closely with the education department to push for improved facilities and the upgradation of girls’ schools in Sanghar.
