Sarang Ram Mathrani is an experienced development professional with over 20 years of expertise in project management, education, community development, humanitarian response, and minority rights advocacy in Pakistan. Holding an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, he has successfully led and managed projects funded by national and international donors, demonstrating strong leadership in program implementation, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and policy advocacy. Throughout his career, Sarang has worked with prominent organizations including Community World Service Asia (CWSA), Civil Society Support Program (CSSP), Thar Education Alliance, Sukaar Foundation, Institute of Social and Policy Sciences (I-SAPS), Sindh Rural Partners Organization (SRPO), District Development Association Tharparkar (DDAT), Participatory Village Development Program (PVDP), SPARC, and the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). His professional experience spans education, child rights, health, WASH, disaster response, social protection, and governance initiatives. He has successfully managed donor-funded projects supported by organizations such as the British Council, USIP, The Asia Foundation, Concern Worldwide, Sindh Education Foundation, MSI Worldwide, IRC, Church World Service, and other international development partners. Sarang has played a significant role in advancing access to education for marginalized communities, particularly through Non-Formal Education (NFE) programs and initiatives aimed at reducing the number of out-of-school children in Sindh. He has also been actively engaged in advocacy efforts promoting minority rights, child rights, social inclusion, equality, and civic participation, contributing to policy dialogue and community mobilization across the province.

I am a development sector professional and human rights activist with over eight years of experience driving systemic change in Pakistan’s most marginalized communities. My expertise spans Proposal Development, MEAL, Project Management, and Fundraising across Education, Vocational Training, WASH, Peace & Development, Livelihoods, and Emergency Response. Having worked with organizations such as the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Malala Fund and Thar Education Alliance, I have consistently focused on institutional upgrading, data-driven decision-making, and securing resources for underserved populations, including religious, ethnic, and linguistic minorities. My commitment to equity deepened during my Rotary Peace Fellowship 2026 at Bahçeşehir University in Turkey, where I learned conflict transformation and peacebuilding frameworks. Building on this, I am now implementing my social change initiative, Peace Possible, which aims to amplify the voice of the Hindu minority community in mainstream Pakistani media addressing their underrepresentation and challenging narratives of exclusion. Simultaneously, I am working closely with Malala Fund to advance girls’ education rights and promote Gender Responsive Budgeting in Sindh, Pakistan. These efforts reflect my belief that sustainable development requires both financial accountability and visible, dignified representation of minority voices. Whether through securing Malala Fund grants for resilient education after floods or leading STEAM festivals for thousands of youth, my work remains rooted in participatory, rights-based approaches. I seek to continue building bridges between policy, media, and grassroots action—for a more just and peaceful Pakistan.

Tooba has collaborated with national and international organizations's projects including Aga Khan University, UNICEF, the U.S. Embassy, JICA, and others. She also serves on national advisory and youth engagement platforms, including the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council, the Alumni Advisory Council at Aga Khan University, and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network. An award-winning researcher with internationally published work, she has represented Pakistan at global conferences and contributes to evidence-based education reforms and inclusive youth development.
