Education Journalism Training Sindh is helping media professionals strengthen their ability to report on education issues with accuracy and evidence.
Abdul Ghani Bajeer, Correspondent, Geo News Tharparkar, shared his reflections on the training workshop organized by Thar Education Alliance (TEA) under the Fund Her Future initiative supported by the Malala Fund.
He described the training as highly informative and valuable, highlighting that participants learned several new skills, particularly how to access and extract education-related data through online platforms. He noted that obtaining school-related information has become significantly easier, enabling journalists to independently access comprehensive data without relying on secondary sources.
According to Abdul Ghani Bajeer, these newly acquired skills will strengthen evidence-based reporting and empower media professionals to cover education issues more effectively, accurately, and responsibly.
