Small improvements in schools can make a big difference in a child’s learning experience. The School Specific Budget (SSB) in Sindh is an important step in that direction, helping schools address their most urgent needs.
In Karachi Malir, there are 529 public schools. Under SSB, PKR 0.307 billion has been allocated, with PKR 0.159 billion already released to support schools.
These funds will help schools work on important facilities such as drinking water, electricity, and boundary walls, ensuring students have a safer and more comfortable environment to learn in.
By allowing schools to prioritize their own needs, the SSB initiative is helping strengthen school infrastructure and support better learning conditions for thousands of children.
