As part of the 15-Day Learning Program of the Children & Adolescents Parliament on the Right to Education in Sindh, supported by UNICEF, the School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD), and implemented by Thar Education Alliance (TEA), young parliamentarians had the unique opportunity to attend the Sindh Assembly Budget Session 2026–27. The initiative aims to provide children with firsthand exposure to democratic institutions, legislative processes, and public policymaking, enabling them to better understand how decisions affecting education and other public services are made. Throughout the learning program, participants observed budget proceedings, interacted with elected representatives, and gained practical insights into governance, accountability, and civic participation.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Honourable Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, whose support made this enriching learning experience possible. By connecting young leaders directly with democratic institutions, the program is nurturing informed, confident, and engaged citizens who are empowered to advocate for the Right to Education and contribute meaningfully to the future of Sindh.
