This marks the completion of six months of Dress Making training, but the beginning of new opportunities, greater confidence, and meaningful career pathways for women in Tharparkar. Under the Innovate HER – Girls’ Pathway to Skill Development Program, supported by Bank Alfalah and implemented by Thar Education Alliance (TEA), the trainees successfully completed their six-month skills development journey. During the closing ceremony, the trainees shared their experiences, learning, and ideas from the training period, expressing their happiness and confidence in gaining practical skills. To support them in taking their skills forward, all trainees were awarded sewing machines and certificates, enabling them to continue practicing, explore home-based entrepreneurship, and work toward earning a sustainable income. The guest speakers also expressed their appreciation and enthusiasm at witnessing a growing generation of skilled and empowered women who are ready to turn their abilities into opportunities and contribute to a brighter future for their families and communities, as they showcased their outstanding work they practiced in the six months of training.
