A Meaningful Dialogue for the Future of Education

The Children’s Parliament delegation had a meaningful interaction with the Honourable Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Minister for Education, Government of Sindh, providing young parliamentarians with an opportunity to share their perspectives and aspirations for education in Sindh.
During the dialogue, the children highlighted key challenges affecting access to quality education, particularly for children in rural, remote, and underserved communities. They shared concerns regarding out-of-school children, girls’ education, school infrastructure, teacher availability and professional development, and the need for adequate investment in education.
The interaction provided a valuable platform for children to engage directly with a key education policymaker and bring forward perspectives from their respective districts and communities. The young parliamentarians demonstrated their understanding of education challenges and their commitment to advocating for the Right to Education.
The dialogue reinforced the importance of meaningful child participation in education policymaking and demonstrated how young citizens can contribute valuable perspectives to discussions on the future of education in Sindh.
