As part of their ongoing learning journey, members of the Children & Adolescents Parliament on the Right to Education, accompanied by the Thar Education Alliance (TEA) team, visited the UNICEF Sindh Office for an engaging and inspiring interaction. The visit began with a documentary showcasing the Parliament’s journey, achievements, and impact in promoting children’s participation and advocacy for the Right to Education across Sindh. The delegationhad the opportunity to interact with Mr. Prem Bahadur Chand, Chief of Office, UNICEF Sindh, who encouraged the young parliamentarians to continue raising their voices for children’s rights and to become champions for equitable access to education. Discussions also focused on the importance of understanding public budgets, governance, and the role of young people in advocating for improved education services. The children shared how the program had strengthened their leadership, confidence, and understanding of democratic processes through
their engagements with government institutions and policymakers. The visit concluded with a productive discussion on future collaboration, including opportunities for young parliamentarians to contribute to initiatives promoting children’s education, health, and nutrition within their communities.
