Girls’ Empowerment Through STEAM Education

As part of the HBL Foundation-supported Girls’ Empowerment through STEAM Education initiative, Thar Education Alliance successfully conducted a dynamic two-day teacher training facilitated by experts from IBA Sukkur. The training brought together 45 teachers from 11 high schools and focused on modern STEAM pedagogy, robotics, logical programming, electronics, mechanics, and hands-on learning.

Teachers engaged in practical activities designed to strengthen their capacity to make complex science and technology concepts more engaging and accessible for girls. The initiative aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation in classrooms across Tharparkar.

The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony attended by education officials and representatives of Thar Education Alliance, who appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of empowering educators to build an inclusive and innovative learning environment.
