Children and Adolescent Parliament Sindh continues to amplify youth voices by creating opportunities for direct engagement with policymakers on key education and child rights issues.
Members of the Children and Adolescent Parliament held an interactive session with Ali Khurshidi and lawmakers Adil Askari, Mahesh Kumar Hasija, Dr. Abdul Basit, Maaz Mehboob, and Faisal Rafique.
During the discussion, the young parliamentarians shared their experiences from the recent budget session and highlighted key challenges facing the education sector, including access to education, quality learning, and educational equity. They also emphasized the importance of effective utilization of education budgets to improve outcomes for children across Sindh.
Ali Khurshidi encouraged meaningful child participation in promoting transparency and accountability in education governance, recognizing the valuable role young people can play in shaping public policy.
The conversation also focused on child rights and protection, with Mahesh Kumar Hasija highlighting the importance of effectively implementing the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act to strengthen safeguards for children.
