World Environment Day 2026 was celebrated with enthusiasm by learners from Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers operating under the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE), Government of Sindh, and implemented by Thar Education Alliance (TEA).
To mark the occasion, learners planted saplings and promoted environmental awareness within their communities, highlighting the importance of protecting natural resources and creating a greener future.
Through this small but meaningful action, these young learners demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. Every tree planted today represents a step toward a healthier environment, stronger communities, and a more sustainable tomorrow.
