Girls Skill Development in Tharparkar is opening new doors of opportunity for young women through vocational and digital education initiatives.
In collaboration with Bank Alfalah, Thar Education Alliance (TEA) successfully completed a four-month stitching and embroidery training programme in Mithi, where 25 girls were awarded certificates and sewing machines to help them start earning from home and support their families.
The event also marked the launch of a web development course for another group of girls, highlighting the growing importance of digital opportunities in Thar.
Speakers at the event appreciated the initiative and emphasized that empowering girls with vocational and technology skills is building confidence, dignity, and new pathways toward economic independence.
