A two-day teacher training program on STEAM pedagogy was successfully conducted under the HBL-funded project, “Girls’ Empowerment through STEAM Education.” The training, facilitated by experts from IBA Sukkur, brought together 40 teachers from 10 high schools to strengthen innovative teaching practices and promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) in classrooms.

The sessions focused on modern STEAM methodologies, equipping teachers with practical tools to enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with a special emphasis on encouraging girls’ participation in STEAM education.

The opening ceremony was attended by Partab Shivani, CEO of Thar Education Alliance, and ADEO Arjan Suther. They appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of capacity-building programs in improving the quality of education and empowering young girls through inclusive and innovative learning approaches.
