An introductory meeting was held between the core team of Thar Education Alliance and Sindh Education Foundation to share ongoing initiatives and explore potential areas of collaboration to further strengthen access to and quality of education across Sindh.
The meeting was chaired by Gahanwer Ali Laghari, Managing Director SEF; Nisar Banbhan, Director Programs & Planning SEF; Partab Shivani, CEO TEA; Tooba Noor, Strategic Lead TEA; and Sarang Ram, Program Manager NFE TEA
During the meeting, the TEA team shared updates on key interventions being implemented at district and provincial levels, including the Sindh Children Parliament, STEAM Festivals, Education Financing initiatives, District Education Ranking, Non-Formal Education initiatives, skills development programs, adopted schools, CSR collaborations, research reports, and other ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening the education ecosystem in Sindh.
Gahanwer Ali Laghari appreciated the work being carried out by Thar Education Alliance to improve educational access and quality across the province. The discussion also highlighted potential areas where SEF and TEA can collaborate to further support education initiatives in Sindh. The MD also shared updates on SEF’s ongoing programs and priorities.
The MD SEF suggested holding a detailed follow-up meeting next week to further explore areas of collaboration and potential joint initiatives between SEF and TEA.
