Children Parliament – Right to Education

Thar Education Alliance with the support of Directorate Literacy and Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE) Government of Sindh implementing project title “Establishment and Operationalization of Non-Formal Education Centers in Sindh”. The project aims to address the critical issue of low literacy rates and limited educational access for out-of-school children (OOSC) in the underserved regions of Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Mirpurkhas. Thar Education Alliance will establish 120 Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers to provide foundational education to 3,600 children and youth who are currently excluded from the formal schooling system. The project focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment that delivers basic literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills, empowering learners for better future opportunities and facilitating their potential transition into formal education.
